When, how and why did you start to get involved with a social project? From 1996 to 1999 I already liked to get the guys together and teach, then afterwards I went to the village to teach the little steps that I already liked to do. After a trip to France I started to work at Sesc and teach in several communities. This created a feeling for sharing my knowledge more and passing on what I learnt to those who liked it, that's when I started to get involved and learn more about social projects.

HIGHLIGHTS

This year, we held our inaugural Breakdancing Event for the community in Rocinha. After such a difficult year, it was amazing to get the community together for an event they could all participate in, and share in the talent on display. Held over two days, we had 45 kids from 3 favelas come and demonstrate their BBoy skills, as well as professionals showcasing their talents.
